Deze tour loopt alleen in de wintermaanden van 1 september tot 15 april. Deze reis zal gericht zijn op de Aurora Borealis, ook bekend als het noorderlicht. Het biedt een aantal van de meest fantastische uitzichten die Moeder Natuur te bieden heeft. Er zijn geen teleurstellingen tijdens deze reis, want je keert naar huis terug met die ultieme herinneringen en foto's van je leven! Onze reizen zijn niet snel en snel, omdat we ook graag naar de lichten kijken! Verwacht urenlang plezier, een goed gesprek en leer hoe je de lichten kunt fotograferen.
Voor het fotograferen van het noorderlicht raden we ten zeerste een DSLR-camera aan met een lens die minimaal een f/2.8 18-35 mm kan en een degelijk statief voor de beste foto's. Het noorderlicht kan ook met smartphones worden gefotografeerd. Maar weet dat vanwege het nemen van een tijdopname, uw beste resultaten zullen zijn met een DSLR-camera. Het kan koud zijn (onder nul), dus zorg ervoor dat je je goed kleedt voor de weersomstandigheden en zorg voor een extra camerabatterij. Door de koude temperaturen kan een accu snel leeglopen.

To be honest the northern...

To be honest the northern lights showed up only for a brief moment and they were not that green but the experience of sitting the whole night in the middle of complet wilderness and looking on the sky its something else, beautiful. It was very cold outside but Scott was keeping us warm in his car the whole time.

Scott has excellent communication with you on what the conditions and expectations are looking like the night you go out. Even with perfect conditions, the lights were elusive for us but everything was set and prepared for when they appeared. Then the magic happened and we were totally prepared to capture all the night sky had to offer. I would highly recommend this tour and Scott is a very knowledgeable guide to the area and the Northern Lights. He’ll also tell you if he doesn’t think conditions are right and it could take all night so be patient. Also, Scott’s high res prints from our night are postcard quality.

Took a Spontaneous trip to Alaska in hopes to see the Northern Lights and check it off my bucket list. And Scott helped me accomplish that goal! Scott was very knowledgeable about Alaska, photography and where the best place to see the lights! He goes over and beyond for his guests. Provided snacks, drinks, blankets, chairs, hand warmers and always leaves the car running so you can warm up :). Even though weather wasn’t cooperating, finally got to see the Lights. I HIGHLY recommend booking through Scott. You won’t be disappointed!

Scott was awesome, he called me about four hours before we where suppose to go out. He told me the cloud coverage would make it almost hard to see the Aurora's so we rescheduled for the next night. So he picks me up at 7:30, and then the rest of the tour (2 more guys) as planned. We drive to five different spot, due to snow and clouds. Yet...the whole time, the entire group is talking about this and that... I was a fun group of people.

The trip was great but unfortunately the clouds were very visible and we did not get to see much of the northern lights but the driver Scott was great.
